About me
I am a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years experience in the NHS. I am also a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society.
I am dedicated to supporting people experiencing difficulties in their mental and/or physical health to find a path to live a full, meaningful and valued life.
Alongside my private practice I have over 7 years’ experience of working in NHS physical healthcare alongside doctors, nurses and physiotherapists contributing to people’s rehabilitation and recovery. After I developed chronic pain I was inspired to work as a Clinical Psychologist in physical healthcare so that I could support others to also find a brighter future.
Over the years I have worked with many people to cope and manage with both their physical and mental health difficulties.
When people come to their first therapy or assessment appointment, they can understandably feel anxious and unsure of what to expect. I offer a compassionate, calm and confidential space where you can feel confident in sharing your experiences with me so we can work together improving your quality of life and well-being.
With extensive experience I work in a number of areas including (but not limited to):
